There is no bigger American icon in the sportscar world than the Chevrolet Corvette. The third generation (C3) was introduced in 1968 and its long, curvy hood has always been a mark of this iteration of the Vette.

This Corvette Stingray is a convertible and is dressed in Corvette Yellow over a black interior. The 1973 model was designed to offer a more comfortable and refined driving experience compared to earlier generations. The pop-up headlights (two on each side), stow away neatly when not in use which gives the car a more arrow and stream-lined look. After the long nose, the car doesn’t stretch far beyond the two long doors that access the cockpit with ease. The rear end has bumper wraps to finish off the look.

Sitting in the driver seat of this Corvette is a comfortable seat looking over the stretched out hood. The odometer (reading 96,458 miles) and speedometer sink into the dash directly in the driver’s view with a cluster of gauges in the center with the radio just below. Directly behind the seats is storage and speakers.

The Corvette Stingray is powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 engine with the L82 giving the car a higher compression ratio and more aggressive camshaft, generating 250 horsepower at 5,200 rpm. The car is driven by a 4-speed manual transmission. Under the hood, the car is well-sorted, clean, and running beautifully.
