Black Horse Garage is proud to represent this well-restored 1931 Ford Model A Woody Station Wagon!

This Model A is a delight to drive and gets plenty of fanfare from all onlookers. It is well-sorted and has taken first place at local car shows. It is been well-maintained by the owner with upgrades and new parts. This car spent many years in the possession of an automobile collector and aficionado before being sold to its current owner eight years ago who has driven it through various New England towns and country roads.

The exterior is painted in a two-tone of black and tan which flow comfortably from the front to the back. It is a Woody so the wood features are prominent. It is finished in maple wood on the doors and sides with a beautiful shine.

This Model A Station Wagon comes with many charming features such as the safari wind screen that can be opened for air flow in the car. The chrome grill demands attention and adorns a goose in flight on the radiator. The running boards and fenders are finished in a glossy black paint just like the spoked wheels. Three rows of seating accommodate six passengers with ease and suicide doors lead to the back rows. Once inside, you are welcomed by a birchwood lattice roof with long grain fabric stretched over the top. The third row is easily removed and the drop tail gate allows for easy access and loading for a day at the beach or picnic in the park.

The Model A is powered by an L-head inline 4-cylinder Ford engine and is driven by a 3-speed sliding gear manual transmission that can produce 40 horsepower at 2200 rpm. The car comes with a new battery and alternator that have been installed.
