In the mid-60s, American automobile companies were racing to develop and release the first pony car. While the Ford Mustang has gone on to be the most enduring of them, the first to hit the market was the Plymouth Barracuda in 1964, two weeks before the Mustang.

Black Horse Garage is proud to represent this 1965 Plymouth Barracuda.

This car has a period of correct restoration, and the view is crystal clear through the iconic wraparound rear window. The exterior is painted in Plymouth Bright Red, and the interior is black vinyl. The original factory-correct wheel covers are installed on the car as well.

The Barracuda is powered by a 273 cubic inch V-8 engine that produces 180 horsepower and is driven by an automatic transmission.

This ‘Cuda is a fantastic representation of a nearly 60-year-old car. It starts, runs, drives great, and has 69,602 miles.
